The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer/Echo Tech to join our Cardiovascular Diagnostic team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will assist physicians with complex ultrasound procedures to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricles, and left atria, and visualize blood flow.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, benefit-eligible position. As a Cardiac Sonographer/Echo Tech, you will work closely with our team to provide exceptional patient care and experiences. You will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, interpreting images, and collaborating with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a completion of an accredited Sonography/Ultrasound tech/Radiography educational program. ARDCS or CCI Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification is preferred, with the requirement to obtain it within one to two years of hire. You will also need to have one to two years of ultrasound experience in echocardiography and current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
