Job Summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional primary care to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, and patient education.

Responsibilities
  • Perform physical exams and obtain patient medical histories
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies
  • Provide patient and family education and counseling
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan optimal care
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse License in the State of Maine
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or certification eligible
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required
