We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead our Private Equity Practice Area. This individual will be responsible for charting our strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving business growth.
About the Role
As the inaugural General Manager for our Private Equity Practice Area, you will be responsible for:
- Developing a comprehensive strategy: Chart our Private Equity vision and strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
- Building relationships and partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Private Equity industry, including firms, investors, and portfolio companies.
- Driving business growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and execute sales strategies, and manage a team of business development professionals.
- Leading commercial liftoff: Drive adoption of our AI solutions across use cases for Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies, finding win-win partnerships and closing deals.
- Shaping thought leadership: Develop and execute thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, conference speaking engagements, and events, to establish Fractional AI as a leading provider of AI solutions in the Private Equity industry.
- Scaling the team: Grow and develop a high-performing team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
What you bring to the table:
- Passion for applying AI to real-world problems: You are intellectually curious about the frontiers of AI technology and able to work well with engineers to develop practical solutions.
- Experience leading a business or practice area: You have a proven track record of leading a business or practice area, with experience in strategy development, team management, and sales growth.
- Unmatched relationships and relationship building: You have a strong network of contacts in the Private Equity industry and are able to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Fluency across the language of tech startups and Private Equity: You are able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, playing a key translational role in the development and sale of our AI solutions.
- Low ego/high resourcefulness: You are a doer, not an armchair strategist, and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.
- Team building and followership: You have experience building and leading high-performing teams, with a strong ability to inspire and motivate others.
