Reporting Structure:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategic Direction:
    1. Formulate and execute strategic initiatives for the technical operations division.
    2. Guide and support a team of engineers, quality assurance specialists, and operations leaders.
    3. Work closely with senior management to ensure technical operations align with corporate objectives.
  • Manufacturing Oversight:
    1. Manage the daily functions of all production facilities, ensuring effective and economical manufacturing.
    2. Adopt best practices in production processes, including lean methodologies and Six Sigma.
    3. Promote continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency and product excellence.
  • Quality Control:
    1. Guarantee that all products comply with quality benchmarks and regulatory standards.
    2. Establish and uphold quality assurance systems and procedures.
    3. Lead efforts to obtain and maintain industry certifications (e.g., ISO, HACCP).
  • Engineering and Maintenance Management:
    1. Supervise the engineering team responsible for the design, upkeep, and enhancement of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
    2. Ensure that preventive maintenance protocols are implemented to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
    3. Encourage innovation in manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Supply Chain Coordination:
    1. Collaborate with the supply chain team to enhance the procurement of raw materials and distribution of finished goods.
    2. Ensure effective inventory management and waste reduction.
    3. Develop contingency strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
    1. Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    2. Design and implement safety initiatives to safeguard employees and minimize workplace incidents.
    3. Conduct regular audits and risk evaluations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Financial Oversight:
    1. Develop and oversee the budget for technical operations.
    2. Track financial performance and implement cost-reduction strategies.
    3. Prepare regular updates for senior management regarding operational and financial performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operations position within the beverage or food manufacturing sector.
  • A proven history of managing large-scale manufacturing operations and achieving operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, regulatory standards, and industry practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to think strategically and execute effectively.
