Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at PRIDE Healthcare. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing habilitation services to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe and clean living environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide habilitation services to clients as prescribed in their service plans, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as preparing food, personal hygiene, and cleaning.
  • Assist clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients in their daily routines, including assisting with medication management, transportation, and social activities.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized service plans.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move clients as needed.
