Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Staffing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our recruitment team, ensuring seamless communication with clients and candidates, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support:
- Manage applications efficiently through designated technology platforms.
- Create and maintain personnel files for new teammates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork and I-9 verification.
- Coordinate onsite recruiting events or open houses, ensuring smooth logistics and candidate engagement.
- Candidate Support and Communication:
- Welcome all visitors and job applicants into the office, providing a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries from candidates and visitors.
- Follow up and communicate frequently with candidates regarding application statuses and stages of the hiring process.
- Pre-Employment Processes:
- Conduct pre-employment processes for new hires, including contacting and interviewing applicants, and facilitating background checks, physicals, and drug screens.
- Communicate details of new hire orientation and ensure all necessary preparations are completed.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment such as staffing, customer service, restaurant, retail, or similar.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client & candidate interaction, both in person and over the phone.
- Social adaptability.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships.
- Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, candidates, and the general public.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
- Ability to read client orders and procedures.
- Ability to leverage recruiting methods to proactively drive candidates to the office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions, take direction, and execute a plan.
- Agility to leverage all processes and technology tools productively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, and other relevant software applications.
- Strong understanding of the light industrial sector (manufacturing, warehousing, logistics).
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in the staffing industry.
