About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Representative to join our team in the Atlanta area. As a key player in driving our business forward, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships, maintaining existing ones, and increasing our market share.

As a Sales Representative with our company, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and experience to achieve sales targets and outcomes within schedule. You will also be expected to supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to identify, target, and secure profitable business opportunities in the construction industry.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with prospective clients to generate new business for our organization's products/services.
  • Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

Requirements:
  • Proven 2+ years of experience as a B2B Sales Representative or similar role.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  • Solid experience in cold calling, business development, and negotiation.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, with a keen understanding of market trends and sales dynamics.
