Position Overview

The Store Operations Leader plays a vital role within the Store Management team, contributing to our mission of guiding individuals towards better health. This position focuses on optimizing store performance and fostering customer loyalty through exceptional service. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Operations Leader is responsible for cultivating a motivated and efficient store team through effective leadership and by setting a positive example.

The key responsibilities of the Store Operations Leader include:

  • Comprehensive management of store operations and adherence to company policies
  • Oversight of sales performance and inventory control
  • Staff recruitment, training, and professional development
  • Financial oversight and budget management
  • Leadership in customer service initiatives

It is important to note that this role is distinct from the Store Manager in Training position, as it does not lead directly to a Store Manager role. Candidates aspiring to become a Store Manager should consider applying for Store Manager in Training positions.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Leadership

- Inspire and guide store teams effectively

- Supervise and delegate tasks to store personnel

- Communicate vital information to team members in a timely manner

- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement operational improvements

2. Customer Engagement

- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues

- Promote a culture of outstanding customer service (greet, assist, and express gratitude)

Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Advanced communication and leadership abilities

- Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles

Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

Compensation:

The expected pay range for this position is:

$31.00 per hour

This range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for all roles within this job category. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including experience, education, and location.

In addition to competitive pay, CVS Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
