Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical direction to the IT Operations team responsible for system operations, change management, configuration management, user support, and training.
  • Manage a team of application, systems, and outsourcing engineers to ensure the high availability of a portfolio of applications.
  • Oversee all technical resources and projects, analyze briefs, prepare progress reports, and identify potential risks.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal and external engineering resources, management, and clients to ensure project standards are met.
  • Lead troubleshooting and recovery efforts, coordinating with various stakeholders for advanced support.
  • Communicate service interruptions and changes to stakeholders, including management and affected teams.
  • Utilize Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies to optimize operations and resource allocation.
  • Assess current operations and organize training sessions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures for application support and maintenance.
  • Collect and report on operational metrics, including compliance with service level agreements.
  • Work closely with executive leadership and finance to project development schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Identify and recommend best practices to enhance operations, including automation initiatives.
  • Foster a motivating environment for staff, encouraging open communication regarding challenges and successes.

Qualifications:

Experience Level: Manager
Minimum Experience: 10 years


Education:

Bachelor's degree required


Skills:
  • Oracle NetSuite (minimum 2 years of experience required)
  • Shopify (minimum 2 years of experience required)
  • Oracle Applications
  • SQL (minimum 2 years of experience required)
