Job Overview

Luxer One is committed to streamlining the package acceptance process and addressing the package problem through automation. As we experience rapid growth, we seek a dedicated Office Operations Manager to oversee various people operations functions in our Charlotte, NC office.

This role involves managing Human Resource requests, IT requests, and facilities requests to ensure a smooth workplace environment. The ideal candidate will be an ambassador for Luxer One, possessing strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Human Resource Request Coordination
    • Collaborate with the HR department on employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
    • Sit in on performance management discussions, such as terminations and disciplinary action.
    • Facilitate employee training sessions on workplace policies and procedures.
    • Prepare designated areas for company meetings.
    • Assist with HR-related inquiries and campaigns.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee data and documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with mandatory training and company events.
  • IT Request Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related requests from employees.
    • Coordinate with the IT team and leadership to deploy technical fixes.
    • Track and prioritize IT requests for timely resolution.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to employees.
  • Facilities Request Oversight
    • Handle facilities-related requests, including office maintenance, equipment procurement, and space planning.
    • Order supplies and in-house catering.
    • Liaise with vendors and service providers for timely delivery of services and repairs.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the workplace environment to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance issues.
    • Respond to facilities requests and workplace optics.
    • Develop protocols for emergency response and evacuation procedures.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in human resources, workplace management, facilities coordination, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Apple Mac and iOS/Apple, as well as Google Workspace (G-Suite) environment.
  • Ability to ramp up on HR and General IT systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing workplace operations is a plus.
  • Ownership of the role and responsibilities.
  • Flexibility, discretion, and approachability.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
