Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Building Operations Manager to join our team at Meadows & Ohly, LLC. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical office buildings, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Coordinate with property managers and vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders, daily maintenance, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Work with outside vendors to schedule building maintenance and repairs, and collaborate with owners and tenants to resolve issues.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with building tenants, service vendors, and building owners to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Oversee routine walk-throughs of properties to identify housekeeping, service, or maintenance deficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of work experience in building operations, maintenance, construction, or other service industries preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook; good interpersonal and communication skills; self-starter with problem-solving abilities; ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Demands: The physical demands of this job include regular use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
