Job Summary

The Human Resources Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, focusing on clerical duties, recruitment, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform general clerical duties, including screening calls, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
  • Provide support for employment matters, including processing applications, arranging interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain confidential records, including personnel files, background checks, and medical records.
  • Assist with recruitment, including developing and posting job descriptions, screening applications, and facilitating the hiring process.
  • Order and maintain supplies as needed.
  • Perform bookkeeping functions as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma and some post-secondary education.
  • Five or more years of experience as a secretary to an executive.
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
