Job Description

Pacific Medical Inc. is a leading distributor of durable medical equipment, specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, prosthetics, and orthotics. Our company is dedicated to providing excellent service and product technology to patients, medical networks, physician clinics, and offices.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Contact insurance companies to resolve past due bills and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Enter Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) into the system and research returned claims to ensure accurate processing.
  • Conduct phone and written follow-up on unpaid claims to maximize cash collection and minimize time.
  • Research and resolve open accounts quickly and professionally to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of medical collections experience.
  • Ability to type 31-45 words per minute.
  • Knowledge of medical records, including the ability to read and interpret them.
  • Understanding of Endeavor and/or Medicare IVR systems.
  • Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and ability to read and interpret them.
  • Knowledge of HMOs and PPOs.
  • Ability to work with patients' medical records to determine correct Medicare criteria.
Compensation:

Pacific Medical Inc. offers a competitive hourly rate pay range of $16.00 to $26.00, with an annual range of $33,280 to $54,080. Overtime pay rate is $24.00 to $39.00, with an example annual overtime range of $5,000 to $19,500. Additionally, a production bonus of $0 to $750 per month and a profit bonus of $0 to $1,000 per month are available.
