Established in 1987, Pacific Medical, Inc. is a prominent distributor of durable medical equipment, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, prosthetics, and orthotics. Our mission is centered around enhancing patient care through exceptional service and advanced product technology.
We are currently seeking two full-time Medical Insurance Collections Specialists for our office. This role is essential in ensuring timely collections and maintaining our commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with insurance providers regarding outstanding bills.
- Input Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) into the system and investigate returned claims.
- Perform follow-ups via phone and written communication on unpaid claims.
- Optimize cash collection while reducing the collection time frame.
- Investigate and resolve open accounts efficiently and professionally.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Medical Collections
- Typing speed of 31-45 words per minute.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret medical records is required.
- Familiarity with Endeavor and/or Medicare IVR systems.
- Proficient in understanding and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
- Knowledge of HMO and PPO structures.
- Understanding of patient medical records for accurate Medicare criteria assessment.
Hourly Rate: $16.00 to $26.00
- Annual Range: $33,280 to $54,080
Overtime Rate: $24.00 to $39.00
- Potential for significant overtime earnings.
Production Bonus: Up to $750 per month.
Profit Bonus: Up to $1,000 per month.
Total Compensation:Examples of total compensation opportunities include:
- Annual Base Pay: Estimated at $38,000.
- Annual Mid-Range Pay: Estimated at $59,473.
- Annual Top Pay: Estimated at $80,893.
