Position Summary:

The successful candidate will collaborate with fellow technicians and work independently to complete installations and service calls for residential audio/video automation systems. Responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and maintaining the assigned vehicle.

  • Proficient in using hand and power tools

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure integrated audio/video systems
  • Set up and install satellite and cable systems
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting of audio/video systems
  • Install and configure networking and data systems
  • Program both single-room and complex systems
  • Understand and set up multi-room systems
  • Possess CEDIA ESTII certification or obtain it within six months of hire
  • Complete ProSource University training within the first year of employment

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Control4 and/or Savant Certification is mandatory
  • Experience in IT networking and/or relevant certifications
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call service schedule
  • Competent in desktop and mobile computing
  • Clean driving record and background check
  • Experience with Crestron, Lutron, and/or URC is advantageous
  • A minimum of two years of field experience is required
