Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems that meet the needs of our biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation systems, including process control systems, building management systems, and manufacturing execution systems.
  • Develop and implement automation protocols, including HART, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibus.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation systems meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain automation documentation, including functional specifications, database design specifications, and hardware design specifications.
  • Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel on automation systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of process control systems, SCADA design, and implementation.
  • Experience with DCS, SCADA, and BMS systems, such as DeltaV, Factory Talk View, and APOGEE.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
