Job Summary:

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) team, you will be responsible for executing multiple aspects of the Operations and Maintenance discipline to keep our systems running and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a small team of 4-8 to maintain several instances of a system, including production and test systems.
  • Investigate issues and anomalies, creating or modifying scripts and examining code baselines.
  • Monitor production and test systems, update production and test systems, troubleshoot issues, log defects, and implement temporary workarounds.
  • Communicate and present complex technical issues across various audiences.
  • Aid in root cause analysis of issues and anomalies, documenting, communicating impact, and ensuring resolutions are implemented and verified.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with agile development activities, including requirements specification and integration test and verification activities.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with SSBI Poly security clearance prior to start date.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification within 90 days of start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SIGINT, GEOINT, or Multi-INT Intelligence Community (IC) background with end user mission experience.
  • Experience with cloud-based S/W architectures, systems and security, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, PKI authentication.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Bash and Python.
