About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our Global Lead Development (GLD) Team. As a Lead Development Representative, you will play a critical role in qualifying and generating leads, prospecting for new customers, and developing and executing sales campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer pain points, gather technical requirements, and correlate business value to customer needs
  • Generate interest and provide vision of the portfolio of AWS solutions to potential customers using written reports/documents and verbal presentations
  • Understand existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing and update their knowledge about new services by demonstrating that they can learn and be curious
  • Achieve monthly qualification goals and share them verbally and in written format
  • Update and maintain customer information within Salesforce.com to include detailed call notes that illustrate a firm understanding of the opportunity with clearly-defined next steps
  • Present a high level, technical solution to diverse audiences which include AWS colleagues, prospects, and customers relevant to target industry or market
  • Conduct research to stay informed, learn about existing markets, and grow knowledge about new ones

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in IT sales
  • Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales or equivalent certification
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
