Role Summary:
We are looking for Assistant Civil Engineers to support our Utility Engineering division, focusing on infrastructure design and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
The Assistant Civil Engineer will undertake research, investigation, and design activities associated with roadway and infrastructure projects for our utility clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and alignment of catch basins and water mains.
  • Conducting record research and site investigations for utility clients and municipal agencies.
  • Planning for Maintenance and Protection of Traffic during construction.
  • Preparing studies, technical drawings, quantity estimates, and specifications.
  • Fieldwork for data collection, test pit inspections, surveys, and construction oversight.
  • Collaborating with various city agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Civil3D is advantageous.
  • Experience with Microstation is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and strong writing skills are essential.

Certifications:

  • EIT certification is preferred.
