SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a comprehensive consulting engineering firm located in the heart of Manhattan, specializing in civil, structural, and transportation engineering, along with bridge and facility inspections, construction management, and lighting design.

Our firm is involved in a diverse range of projects, from local community enhancements to significant, high-profile infrastructure initiatives, earning a strong reputation for delivering exceptional results for our public sector clients.

We are currently in search of a skilled Civil Structures Engineer to become a vital part of our team in the Manhattan office. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and analysis of various infrastructure projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates related to transportation projects.
  • Conduct analyses and devise design solutions for structural elements.
  • Perform thorough reviews of design work completed by team members.
  • Engage in field site visits to collect information and measurements.
  • Utilize CAD software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) for contract drawing preparation.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural analysis and design, or a master's degree with relevant coursework.
  • Experience in the design of bridge structures, either academically or professionally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Licenses/Certifications:

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or the willingness to obtain one within 6 months of hire.


Compensation:

The expected salary range is $78,000 - $98,800 annually. Actual compensation will be based on the individual's qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
