Role Responsibilities:
The Assistant Civil Engineer will be involved in research, investigation, and design tasks related to roadway and infrastructure projects for our Private Utility Clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and alignment of catch basins and water mains.
- Conducting record research and site investigations for utility clients and municipal agencies.
- Planning and implementing Maintenance and Protection of Traffic during construction.
- Preparing studies, technical drawings, quantity estimates, and specifications.
- Performing fieldwork for data collection, test pit inspections, surveys, and construction oversight.
- Coordinating with various municipal agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Civil3D is a plus.
- Experience with Microstation is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with strong writing skills.
Certifications:
- EIT certification is preferred.
