Job Description

Integrated Marketing Solutions (IMS) is seeking a highly driven Business Development Consultant to lead sales efforts and drive growth in client services. As an entrepreneurial business builder, you will provide critical sales support planning, marketing program development, and relationship building to turn prospects into clients.

The Business Development Consultant is responsible for developing the sales support structure and delivering to target revenue goals. This full-time position reports to the Director of Client Services and requires travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a client sales support structure for IMS and drive sales growth
  • Research and identify high-potential targets within the direct-to-consumer retail and service spaces
  • Leverage a network of referral sources and centers of influence to introduce new business and enhance technical knowledge
  • Collaborate with the client success team to expand the key accounts portfolio and deliver growth targets
  • Communicate customer needs and market trends to key IMS stakeholders
  • Analyze, optimize, and report on business performance with a focus on conversion funnel, margin, and discount management
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of business development experience with hands-on experience across all aspects of the selling cycle
  • Highly developed negotiation and communication skills with the ability to cultivate trust-based relationships
  • Microsoft Office Suite aptitude with intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Working ERP and CRM knowledge
  • Previous involvement in RFI and RFP processes

Experience in the direct-to-consumer and financial services industry is a plus. We offer a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you're expected to 'think on your feet' and can effectively work independently.
