Job Summary:

The Medical Director will provide medical oversight and leadership to the clinical staff, ensuring the quality of care is provided to patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical services and the ability to lead a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical supervision to clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, and medical assistants.
  • Develop and implement medical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensure that medical services are provided in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Supervise and train clinical staff on medical procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community resources.
  • Participate in budgeting and financial planning for medical services.
Requirements:
  • Active licensure to practice medicine in the state of New Hampshire.
  • DEA certificate with the ability to prescribe controlled substances.
  • Credentialed with Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in substance abuse treatment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in medical leadership or management.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and coding.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:

The Medical Director will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate everyday noise. The ability to operate in an open work area is required.
