Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our clinical operations and drive excellence in patient care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve the quality and safety of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the quality and safety of our services, aligning with the organization's mission and vision.
  • Clinical Operations Management: Oversee the management of clinical operations, including patient care services, nursing staff, and resources.
  • Quality and Safety: Develop and implement quality and safety initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce harm.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration and communication among clinical staff, leadership, and other stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them, resulting in improved patient outcomes and increased efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience and 5 years of healthcare leadership experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement quality and safety initiatives.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of clinical operations, quality and safety principles, and regulatory requirements.
