Key Responsibilities:

As a Veterinary Sales Consultant, you will be tasked with maintaining and expanding your customer base within a designated territory for veterinary supplies, products, and programs. This includes meeting sales, revenue, and profit objectives within your area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly engage with veterinary practices, laboratories, and institutions within a defined sales territory
  • Maintain and nurture established accounts while acquiring new clients
  • Actively pursue and finalize sales of equipment and technology
  • Grow the existing consumables base
  • Generate leads for technology offerings, exclusive products, and capital equipment
  • Prepare presentations and pricing proposals for clients
  • Achieve forecasted sales goals
  • Promote marketing initiatives and demonstrate new products
  • Support meetings and activities as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree
  • Three or more years of experience in business-to-business sales
  • Three or more years of experience in the health/veterinary sector

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in direct, retail, or telephone sales
  • Familiarity with the veterinary industry
  • Proficient in PC skills, including spreadsheets and word processing software
  • Financial analysis capabilities
  • Negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
