7. Participate in industry events and deliver presentations to enhance EdSurge's market presence and generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications:


Minimum Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of consultative sales experience in the education publishing or edtech sector.
- 2 years of experience selling English Language Teaching (ELT), English Language Development (ELD), and English Language Learner (ELL) products, with a strong understanding of these markets.
- Proficient in technology with experience in delivering presentations to diverse audiences, both in-person and virtually.
- Exceptional skills in relationship building, prospecting, territory management, interpersonal communication, and negotiation.
- Experience with CRM systems for managing sales activities and accounts.
- Willingness to travel as necessary within the territory for events and client meetings.


Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Background as a K-12 educator or administrator, or familiarity with the K-12 state adoption process.
- Advanced knowledge of EdSurge products and services.
- Proficiency in the Spanish language.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree.


Location:

This position requires residence in the designated territory and the ability to travel as needed.
