As a Sales Consultant at Crate and Barrel, you will play a crucial role in shaping our customers' shopping experience. Your genuine enthusiasm for our products will create an inviting atmosphere that encourages customer engagement and loyalty. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Sales Team Leader, your daily responsibilities will include achieving sales targets, becoming knowledgeable about our product offerings, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining a tidy and welcoming sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive company sales growth and profitability through effective selling techniques, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
  • Exhibit company standards in sales, customer service, visual merchandising, and collaboration.
  • Stay informed about all product offerings and current promotions.
  • Share and apply product knowledge to enhance customer interactions.
  • Ensure sales floor coverage and adhere to assigned schedules.
  • Assist with store maintenance and keep displays organized and appealing.
  • Engage with customers proactively and address their needs attentively.
  • Support customers in product selection and process orders or returns efficiently.
  • Communicate customer feedback to management regarding policies and product requests.
  • Participate actively in store meetings and training sessions.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by working respectfully and effectively with colleagues.
  • Contribute to achieving store sales and service goals as outlined by management.
  • Maintain awareness of training resources and opportunities for personal development.
  • Utilize technology and systems relevant to the position and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
