About the Collaborating Physician

Dr. Robert Iadevaio, a board-certified anesthesiologist, specializes in the evaluation and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal, sports-related, and spine-related pain conditions. He employs both traditional and innovative interventional methods to treat a diverse range of pain issues. Dr. Iadevaio emphasizes the importance of accurate diagnosis and goal-oriented treatment for optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner in Interventional Pain Management

The selected Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work alongside an Interventional Pain Physician. We seek a dedicated individual eager to learn and contribute in a setting that prioritizes enhancing patient well-being and restoring functionality.

Catholic Health Service is looking for a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in interventional pain management and regenerative medicine. Experience in neurology or orthopedics is advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate thoroughness, strong clinical acumen, and effective communication skills, working collaboratively within a medical team to support patient care.

Responsibilities Include:

• Enhancing patient care by identifying both immediate and long-term care needs; providing insights and recommendations; collaborating with the physician to implement care plans.

• Evaluating patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and thorough review of medical histories.

• Identifying abnormal conditions by conducting or ordering diagnostic tests, including x-rays, MRIs, and lab studies; interpreting results accurately.

• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintaining precise and detailed medical records while documenting patient progress.

• Offering guidance and support to patients, addressing emotional challenges related to daily living, and promoting overall wellness and health maintenance in relation to pain management.

• Contributing to team success by achieving related objectives as needed.

Required Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of pain management practices and protocols.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, providers, and staff.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Capacity to manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
Qualifications:
  • Physician Assistants must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Nurse Practitioners must have completed an approved NP training program.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure is mandatory.
  • Physician Assistants must hold current NCCPA certification.
  • Nurse Practitioners must possess a valid RN license and current AANP or ANCC certification.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS certification is necessary for those involved in pediatric care.
  • DEA registration is required for those with discharge responsibilities.
Preferred Experience:

- Background in pain management, spine surgery, or orthopedic surgery is desirable.
