Rockville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a highly skilled RN Supervisor / Wound Nurse to oversee the wound care program and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wound Care Management: Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly.
  • Treatment Oversight: Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurse on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for oversight of the facility and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Nursing Guidelines: Maintain nursing guidelines are appropriate.
  • Patient Support: Establishes a compassionate environment by providing support to residents, families, and employees.
  • High-Risk Patient Evaluation: Evaluate high-risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods.
  • Body Assessments: Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy.
  • Collaboration with Doctors: Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Current RN License: Current and valid RN (Registered Nurse) license.
  • CPR Certification: Active CPR Certificate.
  • Point Click a Plus: Point Click a Plus.
  • Wound Care Certification: Wound care certification desired.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in LTC: Experience in LTC is preferred but not required.
  • Positive Attitude: Positive attitude and a team player.
