As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, the Wound Nurse / RN Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. This position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can provide expert wound care and leadership to our nursing staff.
Responsibilities:- Wound Care Management: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of wounds, administer required treatments, and oversee wound care to promote optimal healing and prevent complications.
- Facility Compliance: Maintain facility compliance with regulations and standards, ensuring that our center meets the highest standards of care and quality.
- Patient Assessment: Evaluate high-risk patients and implement pressure reduction interventions to prevent wounds and promote patient safety.
- Collaboration and Communication: Conduct body assessments and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current RN License: Current and active RN license is required, along with active CPR certification.
- Wound Care Expertise: Familiarity with Point Click system is a plus, and wound care certification is preferred.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
- Experience and Qualifications: Experience in long-term care (LTC) is a bonus, and a team player mindset is required.
We offer a competitive salary range of up to $125,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401k.
