Position Details:
As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will assist in maintaining a therapeutic environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

- Ensure patient safety and well-being
- Deliver scheduled programs consistently
- Uphold the dignity and respect of all patients and visitors
- Provide ongoing patient care, supervision, and engagement
- Serve as a role model for peers through mentorship and training
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to fulfill additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age


- High School diploma or a degree in social work, recreational therapy, or a related therapeutic field is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.


- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, with direct involvement with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Proof of Insurance
- CPR and CPI Certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Experience:
- Prior experience in an inpatient psychiatric or healthcare facility is preferred.
- Direct patient care experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients is advantageous.
