About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Early Education Associate Teacher to join our team at Allies for Every Child. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily educational services to children ages 3 months to 36 months in a center-based setting, ensuring a safe and healthy environment that supports each child's development. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily educational services to children ages 3 months to 36 months in a center-based setting
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment that supports each child's development, adhering to all California State licensing and Federal performance standards regulations
  • Support parents as their child's first teacher(s), promoting a collaborative approach to child development
  • Plan and implement daily lessons using program-required curriculum and other resources that maximize each child's developmental ability
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Hold or be eligible for a Child Development Associate Permit or Teacher Permit issued by the state of California Teacher Credentialing Office
  • A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years' work experience in a licensed infant/toddler or preschool center
  • Early Head Start experience is preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and implement educational activities
  • Ability to manage confidential information and maintain a clean environment while adhering to proper sanitation procedures
  • Fingerprint background clearance, DOJ, FBI & Child Abuse Clearance Index, or approved exemption

Benefits and Compensation:

The salary for this position is approximately $$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
