Key Responsibilities:
The Financial Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of inventory levels, customer sales metrics, and various financial elements for our operations.

  • Manage Product Data Management (PDM) tasks, including the creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM) and routings, while analyzing the cost structure of products.
  • Conduct profitability analyses for products and contracts.
  • Facilitate communication regarding customer pricing strategies internally and externally.
  • Prepare and manage customer chargebacks and administrative fees.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory cycle counting policies.
  • Regularly report on slow-moving, obsolete, and held inventory, coordinating reviews with relevant production, quality, and scheduling teams.
  • Assist the Plant Controller with various manufacturing cost accounting tasks and reporting as required.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and engage with all departments, including corporate sales and management.
  • Reconcile intercompany transfer accounts.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative and bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience with MRP systems is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, inventory management, and cost accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong data analysis skills.
  • Excellent mathematical, logical, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven capability to develop metrics for performance monitoring.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with various computer programs and systems for tracking results.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Working knowledge of JDE is preferred.
