Overview:

As a performance-oriented Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of your store and team by establishing high standards for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Your role will involve continuous coaching and development of your team to achieve company goals, enhance revenue, and cultivate their skills while exemplifying strong leadership.

Reporting directly to the District Manager, you will manage marketing initiatives for your location, advocate for store security and loss prevention, ensure compliance with quality standards, and review all transactions to create an environment that encourages growth and innovation.


Responsibilities:

Mentor, guide, and develop all store personnel to acquire new business and drive store expansion by imparting knowledge of and training on systems, company protocols, account management, recovery (collections), job responsibilities, and performance evaluations.

Take the lead and set a positive example for all store staff to identify local marketing strategies, leverage business-to-business partnerships, obtain referrals, and engage in community and in-store events to promote growth and increase revenue.


Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and local and state regulations. Review loan/pawn agreements and transactions to guarantee staff adherence to established practices. Participate in audits and compliance assessments as directed by the corporate office or District Manager.

Oversee and maintain store security, including cash management and loss prevention, by verifying and documenting cash discrepancies, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses.

Assess, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and all relevant transactions, while managing risk within established parameters.
Ensure optimal staffing levels for peak performance.

Maintain store appearance and address basic facility needs, including scheduling maintenance services.

Operate efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance expectations.

A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 45 hours per week, with regular in-person attendance required, including some weekend hours.



Minimum 3 years of experience and proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, service, or related sectors.
Proficiency in using phone systems, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other relevant systems.
A valid and current driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for work-related tasks are necessary.
Successful completion of a criminal background check is required (certain state and local applicant exemptions may apply).

Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about freely inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Experience in retail, sales, or financial sectors is preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is advantageous and may be required for certain locations.

The pay range for this position is $16 to $27 per hour or $16 to $30 per hour in California.

The compensation range listed represents only the base pay for this position, which is just one of the many elements of the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands Total Compensation package.

This role may be eligible for a monthly bonus based on profit, revenue, or other company performance metrics.
