Position Type: Full Time

Compensation:
$17.25 to $20.25/hour with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Weekly pay is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal, and rectal medications.
- Provide insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as directed by a physician and in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Utilize a metered dose inhaler for medication administration.
- Perform finger stick blood glucose testing as per established clinical guidelines.
- Administer commercially prepared disposable enemas as ordered by a physician.
- Document medication administration and/or refusal following established clinical protocols.

- Report and document any unusual medication reactions in the resident's record, communicating with the resident, their family, and healthcare providers.

- Ensure proper storage and disposal of medications.
- Provide routine patient care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing as necessary.
- Execute dressing changes for skin alterations as per clinical guidelines and physician orders, reporting any changes to the licensed nurse as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer usage, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

- Demonstrates effective communication with colleagues, patients, family members, and visitors, offering a warm and welcoming demeanor.

- Responds to concerns with a helpful and caring attitude, providing professional answers to questions when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Certified Nursing Aide in the State of Georgia.
- Certified Medication Aide in the State of Georgia.
