- Report findings directly to the QA Manager within the manufacturing environment.
- Ensure product compliance with the WL Plastics quality standards as outlined in the Quality Program Manual (QPM):
- Perform tests on products and samples to verify adherence to QPM, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Analyze test results to identify product conformity or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assessments, production data, and compliance outcomes.
- Prepare and submit quality equipment certifications.
- Ensure laboratory and quality equipment remain certified and compliant.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.
- Be prepared for flexible hours and weekend shifts as necessary.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Must possess U.S. citizenship or legal residency status.
- Ability to work safely in a production setting; must be physically capable of performing job-related tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications (MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, TrackVia, SAP).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and adhere to safety protocols.
- Commitment to understanding and implementing SHE Principles.
- This role involves a combination of technical analysis and administrative responsibilities.
- Ability to walk, sit, climb, bend, kneel, and perform various physical tasks.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work will be conducted in various environments, including office, production floor, and laboratory settings.
- Must be adaptable to varying temperatures and weather conditions during shifts.
- Comprehensive training will be provided in safety protocols, lab equipment operation, quality procedures, and quality tool usage.
