About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compartmented Security Compliance Project Analyst to join our team at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch security support and expertise to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security guidance and support to ensure compliance with government regulations and policies, including NISPOM, DoD Manuals, and ICDs.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure the security of sensitive information and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks and threats.
  • Represent the Lab in interactions with government sponsors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on security-related matters, including SAP and SCI security requirements.
  • Develop and execute security plans and procedures to ensure the security of our organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a security-related field, or four-plus years of security-related work experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant security-related work experience, including experience as a Program Security Officer, CPSO, GSSO, or SSO.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Security certifications such as SFPC, SAPPC, SPIPC, SPSC, CISSP, or Security+.
  • Experience working in an organization with reporting responsibilities to multiple sponsors/authorities.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity/Information Assurance and RMF.
