Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living skills, community integration, and goal achievement.
  • Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement Individual Support Plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide transportation to and from work, using reliable transportation methods.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Oregon Intervention System (OIS) training, which will be provided by the company.
  • CPR/First aid training within 30 days of hire, which will be provided by the company.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to follow a Positive Behavior Support Plan.
  • Ability to work within a team of Direct Support staff.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and clean driving record.
  • Positive and outgoing personality with the ability to carry a good conversation.
  • Ability to frequently bend, kneel, stand, twist, or reach.
