Housing Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Program Manager to join our team at the City and County of Butte-Silver Bow, MT. As a key member of our Community Development Department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing housing-related programs to achieve community housing goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the City-County's affordable housing program
  • Manage relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement public education and information activities
  • Evaluate and implement established public policy related to affordable housing
  • Identify and execute needed studies to inform decision-making
  • Assist with urban renewal projects and track affordable housing units and projects
  • Manage databases and develop compliance procedures for local housing projects
  • Communicate with the public and provide information and technical assistance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Planning, or a closely related field
  • Experience in housing, economic development, and/or community development activities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal housing development funding sources
  • Ability to prepare accurate and reliable reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders
