Property Manager

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the apartment community and building(s). This role requires providing exceptional service to residents, ensuring efficient property operations, and completing administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate resident records, adhering to affordable housing and state regulations.
- Utilize property management software to reflect current operational circumstances.
- Collect rent and other income, depositing and recording receipts in a timely manner.
- Prepare and deliver notices to residents, including lease violations, terminations, and inspections.
- Coordinate move-in dates with maintenance and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Oversee the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
- Enforce fair housing and landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
- Market the property to meet occupancy goals and maintain a positive community image.
- Ensure the property meets financial performance goals.
- Manage customer service requests and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with the site team and residents to create a healthy community and facilitate on-site communication.
- Maintain a waiting list in accordance with federal regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; training in property or real estate management preferred.
- 1-2 years of hospitality, office management, or administrative experience.
- Ability to effectively manage and solve problems.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to use a computer for property management software, word processing, and web browsing.
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner and relate professionally with vendors, residents, and co-workers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to monitor budgets and maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Ability to drive a car and possess a valid driver's license.
The Property Manager will work in an office/building environment with limited travel required for errands or training events.
