Job Title: Intellectual Property Practice Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Intellectual Property Practice Assistant to join our team at Beacon Hill. As a key member of our Intellectual Property Group, you will provide administrative support to our Partners, Associates, and Specialists, ensuring the smooth operation of our patent prosecution dockets.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily patent prosecution dockets, ensuring all deadlines are met and communicate same to the docketing team
  • Prepare routine patent correspondence, reports, and responses for filing
  • Prepare Information Disclosure Statements
  • Maintain patent prosecution files
  • Provide backup support to other team members in the IP Group
  • Perform other relevant duties in the practice area as directed
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in patent prosecution, including experience as a secretary and/or administrative assistant in a law firm or similar environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Minimum high school diploma required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Word skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information with discretion
