Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dermatology Account Executive to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for closing new business in the specialized testing market, focusing on large dermatology specialty physician practices and specialty clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth through pre-call planning, post-call analysis, and consistent follow-up
  • Target and secure new dermatology business opportunities
  • Provide exceptional support and expertise to new and existing accounts
  • Increase discretionary business through insurance access and partnerships
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of dermatology and melanoma market trends and Quest offerings
  • Collaborate with the DermPath labs to communicate customer and market needs
  • Build strong relationships with DermPath pathologists for customer engagement and communication
  • Provide MIPS solutions to customers and drive growth through robust pipelining
  • Work collaboratively with the oncology account executive team to drive business growth
  • Record all sales activities in Salesforce


Requirements

  • Strong medical/scientific background and contemporary understanding of genetics and molecular diagnostics testing
  • Five years of experience in laboratory, healthcare, or diagnostic sales, with dermatology health sales or marketing experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and general economics of business
  • Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Solid PC skills, including Microsoft software
