Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the supervision of the clinical training of students in the field of radiology and diagnostic imaging. The successful candidate will have qualifications and training comparable with faculty and will be expected to develop an academic program that includes radiology and diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities:
  • Didactic, laboratory, and clinical teaching of veterinary medical students
  • Participation in patient care through diagnostic imaging using various modalities
  • Supervision of residents and continuing education of veterinarians
Work Environment:

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is a wonderful workplace with enthusiastic students, technologists, residents, and other faculty specialists who work together to provide excellent veterinary medical care. The School of Veterinary Medicine is nearing the end of construction on a new facility, which will improve instructional space for students, double the size of the small animal hospital, and enhance the large animal hospital.

Requirements:
  • Completion of residency training in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging
  • Board certified or board eligible in the American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging
  • Wisconsin Veterinary License
