Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the clinical training program, with a focus on radiology and diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in the clinical training program, with a focus on radiology and diagnostic imaging.
  • Participate in patient care through diagnostic imaging using a variety of modalities, including radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, radiology imaging, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Supervise residents and continuing education of veterinarians.
  • Contribute to the development of academic programs in radiology and diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
  • Completion of residency training in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging required by time of start date.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging required at time of start date.
  • DVM - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree.
