Job Summary

This role involves utilizing various class scheduling software and reporting tools to perform all aspects of class schedule building and maintenance in accordance with college, district, state, federal, and other accreditation agency policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of class schedule building and maintenance, including adding, modifying, combining, or cancelling class information, updating instructor teaching assignments and course fees.
  • Monitor and maintain class scheduling reports for accuracy and consistency, and disseminate information accordingly.
  • Work with departments to resolve standard class scheduling discrepancies, and with supervisor to resolve complex class scheduling issues.
  • Assist with preparing the academic catalog, serve as emergency back-up support for the department, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and one year of advanced program support involving program coordination, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Or an equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years' experience as a class scheduler or providing class scheduling support.
  • One or more years' experience using SIS or similar electronic systems to build schedules and assign instructors.
  • One or more years' experience using electronic reporting systems such as Student Services Records Systems or Tableau to prepare and analyze data in report format.
  • One or more years' experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • One or more years' experience working independently and in a team environment in a community college setting.
