What are the responsibilities of our Food Safety & Brand Standards Specialists?

Our specialists assist clients in the hospitality, restaurant, and grocery sectors to uphold brand standards, food quality, and exceptional service. Their duties include:

  • Conducting evaluations to ensure compliance with established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards
  • Monitoring food preparation and cooking practices to guarantee food safety, health, and sanitation
  • Collaborating with clients to identify root causes of assessment discrepancies and formulate corrective action plans
  • Educating and guiding clients on creating a safer and healthier work environment for themselves and their customers
  • Traveling up to 50% of the time, including approximately 8 overnight stays per month, with some evening and weekend commitments

Ideal candidates may have experience as: Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Training Manager, Corporate Trainer, Bar Manager, Chef, Line Cook, Quality Assurance Food Auditor, or in various grocery departments.

What qualifications are required?

  • Ability to obtain CP-FS certification within one year of hire
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and evenings as necessary (including two weekend days per month)
  • Willingness to travel by car and/or plane up to 50% of the time
  • Capability to lift 32 lbs to chest height, along with stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
  • Ability to influence others with tact and provide constructive feedback positively
  • Comfort working autonomously
  • Strong technical knowledge of food safety is preferred
  • ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certification(s) are advantageous
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
  • Valid driver's license and successful motor vehicle record check required
