Position Summary:
  • This role involves providing expert Compliance guidance and services related to the interactions between the organization and healthcare stakeholders.
  • The Specialist ensures that the organization adheres to legal and regulatory requirements while minimizing risks through effective compliance initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will possess qualifications as a paralegal with substantial experience in the Healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, PhRMA Code, and relevant enforcement guidance is essential, along with familiarity with the organization's Compliance Policies.
  • Key responsibilities encompass:
    • 1) Evaluating requests for healthcare professional interactions, sponsorships, and charitable contributions through the Compliance Interaction Management Tool and Request Management System;
    • 2) Delivering prompt support and advice to internal business stakeholders on pertinent Compliance issues;
    • 3) Assisting the North America Compliance team in developing and executing relevant compliance strategies and programs, including compliance awareness initiatives, monitoring, training, and transparency reporting.

Impact: This position significantly influences the outcomes of the individual and closely related teams through personal contributions.
Complexity: Engages in a variety of non-routine tasks to address moderately complex problems, necessitating a solid understanding and experience in the field.
Accountability: Responsible for the quality of work produced, receiving moderate guidance and direction.
Qualifications: Typically requires a graduate degree coupled with relevant professional experience; a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience or a Master's degree along with paralegal qualifications.
