WORK SCHEDULE

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Culinary Support Specialist will be stationed at an educational site, where they will undertake various responsibilities, including serving meals and assisting in food preparation according to established recipe standards and compliance with national food service regulations. This role involves engaging with students, educators, and parents, delivering outstanding customer service that embodies the Genuine ethos. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all served food meets Genuine Foods' quality standards while adhering to food safety protocols at all times.
  • Serve meals to students and staff with a friendly and positive demeanor.
  • Collaborate with team members to guarantee timely meal preparation and service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas.
  • Organize and stock kitchen and serving areas to facilitate efficient service.
  • Promptly notify the Site Lead or Manager of any issues that arise.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be adaptable and team-oriented.
  • Previous experience or training in food service or customer service within a mid-to-high volume food establishment.
  • Willingness to learn about compliance with national food service regulations.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and composure under pressure.
  • Punctuality and adherence to time and attendance policies.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs.
  • A genuine interest in and commitment to the mission of Genuine Foods to enhance students' minds, bodies, and happiness through food.
  • Must be comfortable working in an educational environment with children from grades K-12.
