Behavioral Health Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at Prestige Healthcare Resources Inc. As a key member of our clinical staff, this individual will provide individual and group counseling according to individualized treatment plans and in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate records and documents in a timely manner. A high level of knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques, criminal justice systems, and community resources is also essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to provide crisis support to therapists and clients as needed and assist the Clinical Manager with providing assessment and evaluation of the clinical program to ensure that client needs, agency standards, and funding requirements are met.
The Substance Use Disorder Counselor will work closely with external providers, natural support systems, and organizations to ensure continuity of care. A strong understanding of the ACT Fidelity Model is necessary, as is the ability to coordinate care with external providers and organizations. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
