Job Title: Special Operations Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mental Health Professional to join our team as a Special Operations Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Behavioral Health Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with special operations personnel, their families, and other authorized individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing behavioral health services, including clinical counseling and case management, to support the mental health and well-being of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field and be licensed to practice independently as a LMFT or LPC. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Experience working with special operations forces and/or military populations is highly desirable.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the mental health and well-being of special operations personnel and their families. You will also receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role. We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide behavioral health services, including clinical counseling and case management, to support the mental health and well-being of special operations personnel and their families.
  • Develop and implement programs to foster positive healthy relationships within the family structure and unit connectedness.
  • Promote and maintain communication and harmonious working relationships within the unit, POTFF program, and other DoD and outside agencies.
